Job Advert Summary
Randwater is looking for a candidate who will be responsible for assisting Electrical Section with day to day maintenance, repairs and installation of all electrical equipment, and attend to breakdows within the 14 districts of Bulk Water Distribution.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 or N3
N 1 Electrical
2 years working experience in the similar environment
Driver’s license and be able to pass Randwater’s K-53 driver evaluation
Knowledge of safety
Ability to do standby when required
Primary Duties
To assist the section with planned maintenance, repairs to electrical plant and equipment
To assist the section with routine inspections and service of plant and equipment
Assist with electrical installations
To do minor Electrical Repairs on electrical equipment and appliances
To do house keeping in workshop, switchgear rooms, tools and substations
Knowledge
Basic knowledge of electrical principle
Knowledge of hand tools
Basic knowledge of safety in an electrical environment
