VACANCY

Goldfields Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated Hospital Driver / Porter to provide safe, efficient, and professional transport and porter services within and outside the hospital environment. The Driver/Porter ensures the safe movement of patients, staff, visitors, and goods while supporting clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver quality healthcare services at Goldfields Healthcare.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Minimum Education: Grade 10/12 (Matric preferred).

• Valid driver’s license (Code 8/10)

• Public Driver’s Permit (PDP)

• At least 1–2 years’ experience in a healthcare, driving, or porter role (advantageous).

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and patient handling.

• First Aid training (advantageous).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and competencies:

• Safe driving skills and good knowledge of road safety regulations.

• Ability to operate stretchers, wheelchairs, and lifting equipment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

• Respect for patient dignity, diversity, and confidentiality.

• Ability to remain calm and efficient in emergencies.

• Market related salary.
