\nREQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 or Equivalent qualification, Minimum of 0-2 years\u2019 experience, Computer
\nLiteracy and A valid driver\u2019s license Recommendation: Understanding of the
\nhospital and clinics setup. Knowledge, Skills, Attributes And Abilities Legislative
\nframework governing the Public Service. Basic knowledge of the use of hand held
\ntools and power driven tools and machinery. Knowledge of basic maintenance and
\nrepair of broken pipes. Knowledge of safety systems of work. Ability to work
\nindependently.

\nDUTIES : Installation, repairs and maintenance of high pressure and low pressure and
\ngeysers. Installation and repairs to toilets, annals and other ablution facilities such
\nas showers and baths etc. Installation and repairs to sewerage and water
\nreticulation systems. Clear blocked drains, gutters, down pipes, waste water lines
\nand branch lines. Take and record water supply readings daily. Maintenance on
\nfire hose main supply lines, fire horses and fire hydrants. Daily reporting of faults,
\njob progress and daily completion of job cards \/ time sheets as per auditor\u2019s
\ninstruction. Be prepared to visit primary health clinics to perform maintenance
\nduties when required. Installation of gutters and down pipes asbestos and
\ngalvanized pipes. Compile and submit report, provide inputs on the compilation of
\ntechnical reports. Deputize as Section head in the absence of Chief Artisan. Form
\npart of multidisciplinary team doing rounds in the hospital and clinics: and take
\nnecessary step to fix all identified shortfalls.
