\nDUTIES : Loading and offloading of stock on the trucks and vans. Transport goods to and
\nfrom different departments. Pack stock in boxes according to standards.
\nReceipt of stock from bulk stores. Preparation of stock for the driver to distribute
\nto various facilities for collection by demanders. Maintain hygiene in the area.
\nBasic administration tasks and assist the Clerks with various stores. Perform
\nfirst in first out tasks and stock rotation.

\nDriver\u2019s licence Code B\/EB. Competencies (knowledge\/skills): Ability to
\ncommunicate in at least two of the three languages of the Western Cape. Must
\nbe able to read and write and follow instructions. Must be able to communicate
\nwith Nursing staff, pharmacists and pharmacist assistants. Must be able to
\nfollow uncomplicated standard operating procedures. Must be able complete
\nuncomplicated forms. The ability to function independently as well as in a team.
\nGood interpersonal skills.
\nDUTIES : Deliver medicine and consumable items to the wards and sections daily.
\nEnsure effective maintenance of cold chain for thermolabile medicines and the
\nreturn of cool boxes. Effective transport of expired stock from wards, clinics,
\ntheatres or other cost centres to the pharmacy. Maintenance of audit trails of
\nall deliveries and movement of stock. Assist with basic administration tasks.
\nAssist with general tasks as required by the supervisor. Handling of queries
\nregarding orders placed. Receipt of non-pharmaceutical goods from main
\nstores. Keep the non-pharmaceutical store neat and tidy

\nthe job: Physical ability to pick up heavy boxes or bags. Physical ability to pull
\nheavy pallets containing stock to the various wards for delivery, making use of
\na pallet jack. Competencies (knowledge\/skills): Good interpersonal and
\ncommunication skills. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) in
\nat least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
\nDUTIES : Timeous delivery of stock to wards, departments, theatres and clinics in a costeffective and safe manner. Rotate store stock (first in, first out). Clean stores
