Knowledge: of a limited range of working procedure in respect of<br \/>\nstores assistant working environment and elementary duties such as: Stores,<br \/>\ndocument tracking, storage and retrieval, planning and organising. Skills: Basic<br \/>\nnumeracy, literacy, good communication skills, ability to perform routine tasks<br \/>\nand Basic interpersonal relationship skills. Be prepared to work under pressure<br \/>\nand able to work in a team. Be prepared to rotate and work shifts. Be prepared<br \/>\nto do physical labour. It is a legal requirement that employees wear protective<br \/>\nclothing. The following will be an added advantage: Grade 12. Ability to<br \/>\nphysically move and distribute inventory (consumables\/ assets) and heavy<br \/>\nlifting of goods.<br \/>\nDUTIES : Ensure proper distribution of stock from warehouse(s) to various departments<br \/>\nin the hospital as per requests. Moving of assets (redundant or obsolete and<br \/>\nor new) in and out of the wards\/ offices as required. Assist with stock take and<br \/>\nverification of inventory in the hospital and investigation of discrepancies<br \/>\nidentified. Housekeeping and packing of storerooms as per Inventory<br \/>\nManagement SOP\u2019S and other regulations. Manage and ensure proper<br \/>\nreceiving, storage and distribution for Afrox cylinders, Liquid solutions and<br \/>\nother consumables for patients into the wards. Handling and resolving of<br \/>\nqueries forwarded to the department. Delivery of medical equipment to relevant<br \/>\n117<br \/>\nwards. Ensure all scrapped and condemned assets are placed in one central<br \/>\nplace for condemning procedure.
