The purpose of the role is to research and capture Automotive Aftermarket Part data into a central database.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Key performance areas have been outlined below:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
– Research (find and match) Original Equipment (OE) vehicle part numbers to South African vehicle applications.<\/p>\n
– Capture OE part numbers into a central database.<\/p>\n
– Identify missing data, inconsistencies, and errors and follow up or report on missing data or errors.<\/p>\n
– Compare existing data and make necessary updates to current central data.<\/p>\n
– Communicate with A-Professional, IT & Cataloguing departments on issues and progress.<\/p>\n
– Perform data cleaning.<\/p>\n
– Take ownership and accountability for tasks and demonstrates effective self-management.<\/p>\n
– Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and accurately maintained.<\/p>\n
– Ability to use multiple platforms when researching and capturing data.<\/p>\n
– Maintain a positive attitude and respond openly to feedback.<\/p>\n

Minimum requirements:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Grade 12 and basic computer (Microsoft Excel) and typing skills are essential. Minimum 1-year experience in data capturing.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Desirable Work Experience and knowledge:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
– Automotive Aftermarket Parts knowledge.<\/p>\n
– Basic vehicle under body understanding.<\/p>\n
– Having worked in an OE Vehicle Parts Department would be a distinct advantage.<\/p>\n
– Thorough with good attention to detail.<\/p>\n
– Ordered and systematic with strict compliance to protocols.<\/p>\n
– Able to work to deadlines.<\/p>\n
– Good communication skills.<\/p>\n
