Knowledge of the Access Control Procedures, knowledge of<br \/>\nmeasures for the control and movement of equipment and stores. Knowledge<br \/>\nof prescribed security procedures and policies e.g. (Access Control Act,<br \/>\nCriminal Procedures Act, Protection of Information Act, MISS) and the authority<br \/>\nof security officers under these documents. Knowledge of emergency<br \/>\nprocedures. Ability to use computer. Driver\u2019s license. Skills: Good<br \/>\ncommunication skills, statements and report writing, interpersonal skills, client<br \/>\n113<br \/>\nrelationship management skills, problem solving, ability to keep sensitive<br \/>\nmatters confidential, professionalism, no criminal record.<br \/>\nDUTIES : Supervise security functions performed by security officers\/guards and security<br \/>\nservice providers and ensure adherence to departmental security policies.<br \/>\nAllocate duties to security guards\/officers, monitor outcomes and the<br \/>\nnecessary corrective measures to address deviations from norms and<br \/>\nstandards. Monitor access control to prevent unauthorized entry into buildings<br \/>\nand other premises. Authorization of equipment and sores into and out of the<br \/>\npremises. Inspect and report all non-functioning of security equipment. Check<br \/>\nincident reports, occurrence books and other security registers. Monitor and<br \/>\nprovide support in case of emergencies. Monitor performance of employees in<br \/>\nterms of the new PMDS. Control leave and related personnel matters in line<br \/>\nwith HR procedures and prescripts. Perform key control. Undertake building<br \/>\npatrols to identify risks and threats to the building and personnel. Provide<br \/>\npreliminary incident investigation and submit incident reports. Supervise<br \/>\ncontrol room activities and report all incidents and any non-compliance in<br \/>\nrelation to security prescripts.
