\nREQUIREMENTS : An appropriate national senior certificate\/grade 12 certificate (Vocational)
\n(NCV) Level 4 certificate. Good knowledge of the Occupational Health and
\nSafety Act. Good knowledge of operating lawnmowers. Basic knowledge to
\nattend to minor lawnmower repairs and welding problems. Communication and
\nreport writing skills. Good listening skills.
\nDUTIES : These will include cutting lawns and grass around buildings and surroundings
\naccording to horticultural standards. Ability to operate all types of lawnmowers,
\ngarden tools and equipment, for the cutting of all lawns and surrounding areas.
\nConduct regular building inspections and assist in minor electrical, plumbing
\nand welding repairs. Pruning of trees. Planting of new flowers and plants.
\nSafekeeping of maintenance tools and supplies. Report defects.

\nQualification Authority (SAQA). Candidates whose appointments promote

\nexercise that intends to test relevant technical elements of the job, the logistics

\nentry requirements for the SMS position is the Pre-entry Certificate. No
\nappointment will take place without the successful completion of the pre-entry
