Job Description<\/span><\/td>\nCoca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for an Cleaner role, which is based in CCBSA Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will report directly to the SHEQ Manager in CCBSA Bloemfontein. KEY PURPOSE To ensure the cleanliness of prescribed work areas as directed by the Supervising Officer, using the prescribed methods and frequencies in line with the requirements of the cleaning specification. The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Key Duties & Responsibilities<\/span><\/td>\nKey Outputs and Accountabilities \u2022 Emptying and cleaning of waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points. \u2022 Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops. \u2022 Mopping floors with wet or damp mops. \u2022 Suction cleaning carpeted areas and \u201cspot\u201d cleaning carpets. \u2022 Using electrically powered scrubbing and polishing machines to burnish, scrub, polish and spray clean floors (after receiving proper instruction and training). \u2022 Using electrically powered pick up machines. \u2022 Working at heights may include using high level equipment. \u2022 To dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, ledges, windowsills, external surfaces of cupboards, shelves and fitments. \u2022 To replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) as directed or in line with standard operating procedures. \u2022 To clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, showers and drinking fountains. \u2022 Deep cleaning of ablutions. \u2022 Cleaning of Drains. \u2022 Working in the gardens which may include removal of weed, using of pesticides, cutting of lawns and pruning of trees and shrubs. \u2022 The use of chemical agents as directed by the Supervising Officer in the execution of cleaning operations or maintenance procedures, after receiving proper instructions and training. \u2022 To undertake wall washing or inside window pane cleaning at prescribed heights limits. \u2022 To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job. \u2022 Cleaners are to report to the supervisor or Team leader in charge, any factors that are likely to affect his\/her work which they consider that the caretaker or cleaner in charge should be aware. \u2022 The location of cleaning areas may need to be changed to meet the needs of the establishment. \u2022 May be can be required to work alone or in teams. \u2022 Not necessarily appointed to a specific location within the establishment. \u2022 May be expected to train colleagues on the job from time to time. \u2022 All staff are expected to be courteous to colleagues and visitors and provide a welcoming environment to all on site.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Skills, Experience & Education<\/span><\/td>\nGrade 12\/ Matric Qualification. Experience \u2022 Minimum requirement: \u2022 Ideally experience in an FMCG environment. \u2022 Literate and numerate.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
