As we predicted before, Brandon Peterson has been left behind as part of the Bafana Bafana Squad which will participate in the FIFA World Cup 2026, this doesn’t come as a shock to anyone who has been following how Hugo Broos the head coach of Bafana Bafana has been making decisions.
Hugo Broos based on our analysis is a coward coach who doesn’t create his own style of play but depends on the domestic teams systems, mainly Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
The reason why he selects most players from those mentioned teams is because he wants to use the very same play system which is used by their respective teams and by doing so he’s sidelining deserving players who are not playing for those particular clubs.
As Jobshare we are very disappointed as Peterson was one deserving player who deserved a chance to go and shine at the world cup but due to his association with Kaizer Chiefs he failed .
